Danielle is an extremely talented designer. She took our dream of a west coast rancher from a concept to a living reality. We found her to be professional, organized and very easy to work with. Danielle delivered a product that exceeded our expectations. Thank you Danielle.

To whom it may concern:
My wife and I purchased a cottage atSun Peaks about three years ago. The place had an unfinished basement and needed updating of the finished area. We hired Danielle to work with us on decorating the basement and to update the finished area.
To start, Danielle met with us at Sun Peaks to view the property, to discuss our visions, to understand our styles, and to discuss how we were going work together “remotely” given that we live in Langley, she lives in Kamloops and our property is at Sun Peaks. Following this initial meeting, Danielle began working with our general contractor to align her work with the work he was going to do in the basement. ln addition, Danielle started her work on the updating of the finished part of the house.
Danielle worked with us very effectively, efficiently and flawlessly. First, she developed an overall vision of how the finished part of the house was going to be updated and showed us how the new colour scheme, fixtures, furniture and carpeting were going to create the relaxing atmosphere that we were aiming to achieve. Danielle presented us options and gave us “creative” latitude while moving us forward with decisions and maintaining our focus on the desired outcome. For example, she would send us a website for furniture, recommend what we should go with and allow us to make decisions (within reason) about colour, fabric, texture, arm rest configuration, etc. Once we finalized our
decisions, she reached out to her extensive network of contacts to procure items. She sent me regular email with instruction about who to phone to make payment. When the items arrived in Kamloops, she would either arrange for delivery (ie: couches), work with our Contractor to have the items (ie: lights) picked up the next time he was in town or check with us if we wanted to pick up the items the next time we were driving through Kamloops. This arrangement worked very well for us because it was stress-free – Danielle took care of everything. All we had to do, for the most part, is show up at Sun Peaks and enjoy our new furniture, new fixtures, carpeting, etc.
Danielle worked equally effectively, efficiently and flawlessly with our Contractor on the basement. She met with him to review and to discuss the overall plan for the basement. As before, she then developed a vision for how she would decorate, furnish and arrange the basement to make it cozy, comfy and our dream. Again, once we signed off on this vision, Danielle did her magic with her network of contacts and our Contractor to make our dream basement a reality. She worked very well with our Contractor in terms of the schedule, timing and alignment of her work with his. The two of them successfully resolved many challenges associated with the project without the need to involve us in the
process.

To: Whom it May Concern,
My partner and I have been attempting for over a year to draw up plans for our house. We have gone through two architects in the Yukon who were incapable of meeting our criteria. The architects we had dealt with did not listen to what we wanted for our home design nor would they help us keep the cost within budget. At one point, the cost of our home was going to be $600,000 for our $400,000 budget.
I contacted Danielle Fauteux of ‘All by Design’ through Facebook (I had seen her work posted) and asked if she could please help us achieve what we needed to for our house. We were astounded by her efficiency, it took her a day and a half to draw up, decrease the square footage of our house and make the adjustments we had asked.
Ms. Fauteux was in constant contact with us and replied to our emails promptly. My partner and I were absolutely shocked with how prompt she was, how she listened and incorporated everything we asked.
She was very helpful, by providing suggestions on how to save costs for the house such as ‘stacking the stairs.’ She met every deadline and in some cases was early. She even met with our contractor who was in Kamloops to pick up his child from university. Our contractor intends to use ‘All by Design’ for any further projects he has, as he was very impressed with her efficiency, professionalism, communication and promptness, as we were.
We would strongly recommended Danielle of ‘All by Design’ for any architectural needs as she is efficient, professional and prompt.

To Whom It May Concern:
RE: Danielle Fauteux
I had Danielle design my home on 2190 Cross hills Drive. I found her very professional and knowledgeable. She responded to my emails in a timely manner and also provided me with additional information to review prior to designing the home.
Danielle was able to articulate her response in a manner in which it made sense to me and not in building code jargon. She was extremely personable and really looked after all my needs and wants when it came to designing the house while keeping me in check with some of the ideas as well.
I have recommended Danielle to other friends who are looking for a home designer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely

It is with genuine pleasure that we provide this letter of reference for Danielle Fauteux of Home Design by Danielle. After twenty years our home had become drab, dated and desperately in need of updating the paint, flooring, electrical, counters and window treatments. As we had never renovated before my wife and I realized that we would need help and guidance if we wanted to end up with a look that would be contemporary and affordable.
My wife had heard of Danielle through a friend and so we decided to meet with her in order to explore what we could reasonably afford to do to update our home. After walking through the house and discussing her ideas we knew immediately that we had made the right decision and hired Danielle on the spot. We had two conditions, one being budget and the other was our being involved in the renovation process.
Knowing that we wanted to complete the renovations as soon as possible Danielle immediately set about lining up appointments with the various trades we would need. Danielle has an extensive list of trades covering everything from landscape, electrical, windows and more. Knowing that she has used these people before and that she was prepared to recommend them gave us confidence that they would be dependable, affordable and professional. That belief was borne out in our meetings with each of them and the quality of their work.
In a little over a month the interior of our home has been transformed from tired and worn into fresh, bright and modern. In the end we did exceed our budget somewhat but that was by our choice and it was the right decision for us because of the result we wanted to achieve. Throughout the renovation Danielle kept us involved and encouraged us to take the lead in dealing with the trades people. She was there when we had questions or needed advice. Renovating can be a costly and intimidating experience if you do not have the right people working with and for you. In Danielle we found the right person to help us with the design and through her contacts the right people to execute it. We highly recommend Danielle if you are considering a renovation of your own. You will not be disappointed.
Sincerely

“I must say that from a client perspective, I am very happy and extremely impressed by all the work you have done for me. Everything has turned out way better than I imagined and I attribute most of that to the hard work you have done for me.”

“When I decided to build a new store in Columbia Square, my landlord encouraged me to commission an Interior Designer for the project. After talking to several designers I picked Design by Danielle. Danielle was very helpful and took up the challenge of designing and building this new store for a very reasonable fee. Danielle had some great ideas and suggestions and a good knowledge on what would look good, from colors, cabinets, accents and furnishings. She was especially good at sourcing out the contractors and trades. I am very pleased and impressed with the end result and would recommend Danielle for any interior design and renovation project.
Thank you Danielle for your professional and commitment efforts on this project.”
